Shan Song: We Have Abandoned Our Homeland

This song is a Shan version of Lao and Thai songs (and there are many more covers of this song)

Today I will present you all the IPA lyrics of this song, so we can sing along! :D

----
Please note that I do not speak Shan, but I do understand the language quite well because I speak Thai and understand Lao (Shan is in the same language family as these two), and also with the help of this Shan-English dictionary. It took me a while to actually learn how to read the Shan script. I find the text easier than Burmese since Shan spellings are more straight forward.

So, all I'm trying to say is that I spent a lot of time deciphering these lyrics, so please treat them with respect, do not steal them without giving me any credits. :D

And if you want a copy of these lyrics in a Shan script, you can get it here.
